For years, the Chevy Equinox has been the go-to SUV for families living here in Cold Spring, MN. The 2022 model has even more for you to love. Our team here at Schwieters Chevrolet of Cold Spring has all the details on the updates made to the Equinox.

Chevy Equinox Exterior Design Updates

The refreshed styling for the Equinox is sure to turn heads around Sartell, MN. Both the front and rear fascias have been completely redesigned, and the front grille has a new look, too. Both the LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights also get updated for 2022. If you choose the Premier trim for your Paynesville, MN drives, your SUV can show off a black grille with chrome inserts. There are also new paint options to consider, including Blue Glow Metallic and Iron Gray Metallic.

All-New Chevy Equinox RS Trim

Perhaps the most exciting update for 2022 is the brand-new RS model. It shows off roof rails, a power liftgate and unique black accents on the exterior. Inside, Saint Cloud, MN drivers can find black upholstery with red accent stitching, as well as a unique design for the shift knob. Extra luxurious features like heated front seats and a remote start come standard for the 2022 Equinox RS.

Chevy Equinox Performance Updates

Last year, the Equinox had two available engines. For this year, the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine has been discontinued. All models are now equipped with the powerful yet efficient 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. It creates 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque as you make your way around Litchfield, MN. Front-wheel drive remains standard, and all-wheel drive is also an option.
